Well, it seems as if I let myself slip big time last year! All the *promises* I made myself to be a better blogger just did not happen. Perhaps the many things that went wrong with my house helped contribute to less time focusing on blogging. Or even the health scare I had in October. Regardless, I just did not follow through with any thing as I wanted. BUT, this is a new year- a new decade too! And time to make those changes!
I turn 50 this year, and want to really put more of an effort into my crafting. Hoping to add even more altered items into my stash, as well as paper crafting (Cards, mini albums, etc). I am trying to cut down on impulse buys, and use mainly what I alrady own, which is quite a bit! I look forward to what inspires me this month, and cannot wait to get back into my crafty space. 🙂
How about you? What most are you looking forward to this month?
Stay tuned for more to come…. I am hoping that my Christmas storage boxes are out of my craft room by Monday! 🙂 Until then….. happy crafting!

I am an empty-nester ( was 41 when my youngest moved out and enlisted in the AF) who needed to find an outlet to express a lot of mixed emotions after my father passed away in 2012. SO, again I found myself drawn to paper crafting. I obtained my first Cricut machine from an EBay auction for my birthday that year, and before I knew it, I had two rooms full of craft supplies used to create cards. Lucky for me, my husband is good-nature and does not complain.
We have four boys- grown boys; 4 cats, 3 dogs, and 1 Amazon parrot.
When not creating and sharing my love of paper crafting, I enjoy taking photos! I love nature photography the best. So don't be surprised to see some of those pop up every now and then.
I am also a Founding Coach for this amazing direct sales marketing company that specializes in craft supplies- Fun Stampers Journey. I signed up end of August/ early September 2014, and have not looked back since. This company grows every year and I am proud to be part of it!
